I happened to be in another city that morning for an interview. At the same time, in another hall was a town hall meeting for TJX Company. The event was catered – a gigantic spread of breakfast foods. Lucky for me, I fit right in because I was conveniently suited up for my interview. I only took pastries before my ride came to drive me back to school. Shame, the pictures you see were all the leftovers, I could have taken several bags worth of food back.
My interview went quite well, it was 2 situational questions and lasted only 30 min. I’d much prefer these types of questions over the boring “why do you want to work here, why should we hire you, etc.”. It’s much too scripted and whatever comes out of the interviewee’s mouth is usually rubbish. Every wants to work for money and experience, they want this specific position because its the only one they have a chance at landing.
This is my pre-interview energy booster meal.
Followed by a post-interview relaxation snack.
