This was another healthcare conference targeted at undergraduate and graduate students alike. Registration is free and covers breakfast and lunch. At registration you were given an ID badge but they weren’t too strict on it. I lost mines halfway through yet still managed to get food.
For breakfast, they served lots of bakery from Costco (chocolate croissants, muffins, chocolate brownies, pound cake, fruits, coffee and tea). It was quite satisfying.
Lunch consisted of catered sandwiches (these sucked, it was literally deli meat + lettuce and Dempster’s bread), cookies and assorted vegetables. I noticed they still had a full box of chocolate croissants stuffed underneath the table, so I took it. It was a decent event, the food was plentiful and I managed to sneak away to get some studying done.
Just some items from the breakfast cold buffet.
The bottom plate shows the lunch buffet. It was pretty shitty, considering the conference spent over $2000 on catering (I checked the exec. budget sheet).
