Within our local community, several political candidates were gearing up for elections in our riding. A note of advice, many of the candidates throw info sessions and casual bbq’s to attract attendance. So if you’re feeling strapped for food, it’s always helpful to show some support to the local party and score some free grub.
Today was the actual Election Day. After submitting our ballots, we were invited to the members VIP lounge area, where free refreshments and a sitting place were made available. A small table featured various cheese spreads, as well as meatballs and lasagna, it was nothing spectacular but a nice touch for supporters.
