My friend’s faculty group, the biomed society, was organizing an upper year buddy night. The purpose was to pair upper year students to incoming 1st and 2nd year students, to help them navigate the years and provide support. The social mixer featured lots of delicious homemade treats and coffee.
The alumni association is hosting their monthly free bagel breakfast for students this morning. Surprisingly, the turnout to this event is a lot better than previous years. So much so, that they would often run out of bagels and doughnuts within the first hour. That didn’t stop the early birds from taking home handfuls of bagels in plastic bags.
