At the start of the New Year, my faculty holds a big breakfast for students and professors to meet and mingle. Held in a large hall, there were 2 rows of hot breakfast food laid for the students and professors. They served bacon, sausages, eggs, potatoes, croissants, bagels, various pastries and desserts, and fruit.
From what I recalled last year, there was lots of food leftover. This time around, I brought some Tupperware to store the leftovers once the event ended. The wait staff didn’t mind. I managed to get a sizeable about of food, which I snacked on throughout the remainder of the week.
Here is what I managed to procure from the event. Luckily the hall was empty by then, or I would have been to ashamed to do this!
There must have been at least 10 lbs of food total.
