Tonight was a “meet the Profs” event for the economic society at our school. I am not an econ major, but several of my electives are, so I heard about this through the in class announcements.
It was quite the good turnout. As it seems, this society has a lot of support from the staff. Over 10 professors and chairs came out to this event!
Initially, the student and professors were segregated, but once the food (very delicious, by the way!) and icebreaker games came out, everyone started mingling.
