We scoped this event out by being subscribed to the Hamilton Community Newsletter – HIVE. Co-motion is a co working space recently launched in Hamilton. Its basically a much smaller WeWork. People can rent table space from them, access to meeting rooms etc. starting from 99/month. It’s targeted at entrepreneurs and young folks.
There was free champagne, only limited to 4 bottles serving over 100 people in attendance. There was also beer on tap, for $5/cup
Not shown are several boxes of pizza to feed hungry attendees while the chefs prepared the food. Shown below is some grilled cheese sandwich concoction, infused with nutmeg and a bunch of other stuff.
Bottles were popped
This was the roast beef spit, probably the highest value item there.
We stayed until the bitter end when they cut the birthday cake in celebration. It was good, nothing fancy, probably some costco cake.
This was very cool, they also had a rooftop patio. So guests can chill up top and admire the Hamilton skyline. Directly opposite is Club 77, which would be cool to people-watch on weekend evenings as the fiends come crawling.
