In the volunteering group I am involved in, our team leader hosted a social/thank you for the volunteers. Restaurant grade pizza was served, while the 10 of us sat around a conference room awkwardly making small talk. Strangely, the organizers were quite stingy, limiting how much we eat and hastily packing away the leftovers… Afterwards, they went on a hike around campus – I had class right after and didn’t attend
