Another faculty organized a free ice cream Sunday event. I’m not sure as to why – National Sundae Day (yeah it exists..) falls on Nov. 11, last I checked. But nevertheless it was very nice. There was basically no lineup. The organizers sat at tables and served you ice cream in beer cups. Down the table there were assorted toppings for self-serving. They included chocolate and buttercream syrup, sprinkles, chocolate chips and the typical Sunday dressings. They didn’t mind that we went for seconds and thirds. Total time commitment: 15 min
Even though this is comparably cheaper than the typical foods I find, it was just as satisfying. This is the first event I’ve been to that serves ice creams and sundaes.
