Yet another event I found via Eventbrite – I was in London for the day, and luckily there was a conference that offered free food that happened to fit into my schedule. At Queen Mary University of London, there were important Chinese delegates arriving for a ribbon cutting ceremony type. The Chinese student association organized an event and invited all to attend.
As expected, introductory speeches, welcoming performances (including an opera solo) were part of the event.
For lunch, a great Chinese buffet complete with champagne was provided for all attendees.
