Every time Goodlife Fitness opens a new branch, an opening party is held and welcoming everyone. In this case, a new location near my house cropped up. As a current patron of Goodlife, I was curious to see this new location, and how they execute an opening party.
As many as 300 people were crowded into the new gym location – several GMs and prominent local figures were in attendance (even the city mayor). Tours and speeches ran for most of the afternoon.
Food was also served, the chief reason I was there. However it was mediocre at best, some fruits and vegetables, with dip and crackers.
