This was another all-star event: It was the Christmas party for the innovation hubs near our school. Lots of people and their families were in attendance. Everyone involved in the hub came out, including investors, community members, sponsors and associates.
The food quality served was superb, and everyone got a drink ticket, beer or wine. Stuffed mushroom, chicken skewers, dessert trays were amongst the highlights.
Live music was played, as well as a draw for several door prizes. Things like $50 gift certificates, coupons for tanning, yoga or fitness lessons were raffled off.
Overall, it was a great event. The location was great, to network as well as eat comfortably.
A cool thing they did was serve food using square paper plate. It was the first I seen of this, and struck me quite unique. It was a lot more elegant than generic round plates.
