Another of my friends introduced me to this event. It was a case competition for engineer students. Volunteers from all faculties were welcome to help out. Mostly we just did admin stuff like sign in and registration. At lunchtime, all attendees were provided a hot lunch – hamburgers and French fries all you can eat. During lunch, a live debate was also going as live entertainment for students. The topic: Should engineer students have more elective spaces. It was interesting: one side argued a wide variety of elective option makes better, well rounded students. On the other hand, the tradeoff being it makes them lesser engineers as they don’t learn enough core material.
