Our campus has an on-site museum, and opening night receptions are great for free food. Tonight was such a night. They served up cheeses and various other finger foods – and also wine. As you can imagine, the wine selection is quite weak – only 2 variety of white and red. Nevertheless, free alcohol is free alcohol.

Buffet table – the food was actually mediocre compared to past events. Usually there would be hot food i.e. meatballs, samosa. Instead, there was only cheese, crackers and olives. Well beggars can’t be choosers is my motto in these events.
