There was a scheduled information session with pizza and pop for students. Fortunately the school experienced a snow day that very day – the pizza order was too late to cancel so the faculty encouraged everyone to go for free pizza. The result was chaos. The workers were unaware of the cancellation, and tried to distribute it in an orderly fashion but were quickly overwhelmed by rush of students. People were grabbing the 2XL boxes of pizza and leaving. Those that came late were sour they didn’t get any. Entire duration lasted around 30 min.
Although the event was targeted at 3rd year students, once the news of cancellation spread, students of all years flocked to the feeding grounds.
This was just before handout of pizza became a free-for-all.
Our “take”, we stayed around to watch the event unfold. The pizza and salad were shared between a large group of friends, and later offered it to those that came in late.
